JRNY Gallery
I joined JRNY Gallery in May 2024, nearly a year after its opening in July 2023. Located on Main Street in Las Vegas’s Arts District, the gallery focused on contemporary digital art, NFT projects, and emerging artists. I initially joined as a Gallery Assistant to gain hands-on experience in the arts sector, particularly in exhibition support, event production, and operational logistics—skills that are foundational to effective public relations and communications work across creative and public-facing industries.
By the end of the year, I had taken on responsibility for the gallery’s curation and day-to-day operations, redefining its programming to focus on independent artists—an approach I introduced to sharpen the gallery’s curatorial voice and cultural relevance. I oversaw exhibition planning, artist coordination, event execution, and audience engagement, managing both the creative and logistical dimensions of gallery operations while ensuring consistency across physical programming and public-facing communications.
In parallel, I developed and executed a new social media strategy that repositioned the gallery’s digital presence with a more elevated, high-art tone. Through daily posting, behind-the-scenes documentation, and informational content contextualizing artists and exhibitions, I built a cohesive narrative that emphasized curatorial intent while remaining accessible. This approach led to nearly 1,000 organic followers gained within a few months of my start on both Instagram and X, with the gallery’s social platforms reaching approximately 10,000 followers on X by the time I left—significantly expanding its visibility within contemporary art and digital art communities.
In early 2025, I also stepped into the role of Warehouse Lead for a nearby facility to support the launch of Aiur Labs’ e-commerce operations. In this capacity, I helped establish inventory systems, shipping workflows, and fulfillment processes, contributing to the operational foundation of the brand’s digital expansion and reinforcing my experience at the intersection of creative strategy, logistics, and communications.
I managed the Gallery's social media, focusing on X and Instagram. We grew our Instagram followers to over 1,000 and gained nearly 1,500 new followers on X in just a few months. I also launched the Gallery's monthly newsletter.
I curated the Gallery’s 75 digital monitors each month, featuring popular and new NFT projects. I also started efforts to include different blockchains beyond Ethereum and Solana, as well as artist-led NFT projects and independent digital artists.
Helped run the First Friday AIP initiative from August to December 2024 in Boulder Plaza. Sourced local artists, organized logistics, managed vendor relations, and supported ApeCoin tents to raise Web3 awareness across demographics. Assisted with monthly events, including JRNY Meets and Tech Alley talks in the Gallery.
Linking the digital and real worlds, I introduced the Gallery's first traditional full-circle artist to showcase NFTs' value. Independent digital artist Axelia Rose is featured with her physical artworks tied to her NFTs. The artwork ‘Untitled Vase 001’ includes the purchase of both the NFT and the original vase, created in a real firepit. On the right is ‘Delight,’ where buying it gives you both a print and the NFT.
Assisted with events of this nature by managing the logistics for all digital monitors and preparing for various functions. These events have included project anniversary celebrations, artist showcases, and networking gatherings.
In Autumn 2024, I started the ‘Artist of the Month’ program to showcase a variety of NFT and digital artists. Past featured artists include local newcomer Yaya, and independent artists like Christine Clue, who mixes classic techniques from the Old Masters’ with modern themes and metaphors, digital illustrator Laura El, and self-taught abstract expressionist Ishika Guha, who has shown work at the Saatchi Gallery.
